Kelley was recognized for his participation in some of the most high-profile sports facilities deals of the past decade.

The National Law Journal has recognized Husch Blackwell partner Kevin Kelley on its 2019 Sports & Entertainment Law Trailblazers list. The list contains 30 attorneys who are the leaders and innovators behind some of the biggest names and deals in the industry.

Kelley was recognized for his participation in some of the most high-profile sports facilities deals of the past decade, including his representation of the Washington State Major League Baseball Stadium Public Facilities District, the owners of T-Mobile Park, in its leasing transaction with the Seattle Mariners; his representation of Wisconsin Center District, owner of the Fiserv Forum, in in the development of the $524 million Fiserv Arena for the Milwaukee Bucks, and his representation of the City of Sacramento in the development of the $477 million Golden 1 Center arena for the Sacramento Kings.

Kelley is the only real estate lawyer named by the National Law Journal to the Trailblazers list and is considered a leading authority on sports facility development and lease agreements.
